| The shawl is heavily embellished with lush silk embroidery. The design is abundant with figurals in period dress, pagodas, animals, birds, butterflies, architectual elements, etc. The wide border surrounding the shawl is unusual in design, with flowers and beautifully embroidered Koi fish. This is a mirror image shawl. Two sides opposite each other have the figurals, and the other two sides have large ornate vases filled with flowers, beautifully embroidered birds, and bows. Measuring apprx. 62" with additional 18-19" for macrame fringe. Two tiny flowers were drawn but not embroidered, and there are a couple of light stains and a dirt mark on the edge of the shawl that just needs cleaning, very minor.
